Privacy Policy

1. What Happens on Your Device (Local Processing)

Each extension performs its core logic in your browser:

• NDH Prompt Privacy: Scans message input locally before you send and warns about sensitive patterns (API keys, passwords, IDs, phone numbers, emails, addresses, etc.).
• NDH AI Highlight: Uses your selected text and chosen prompt template to launch your selected AI destination from the browser context menu.
• NDH Prompt Library: Lets you manage and insert saved prompt templates locally from the extension workflow to speed up prompting tasks.

Important: We do not operate ingestion endpoints for extension content. Your selected text, prompts, and warning checks are processed client-side and are not transmitted to NextDayHub servers.

2. What We Store (Settings Only)

The only data stored by these extensions is local configuration, such as enabled filters, selected destination, saved prompt collections, and custom prompt templates. This is saved using Chrome's local storage (chrome.storage.local) and stays on your machine. You can wipe this data by uninstalling the extension or clearing extension data.

3. Why We Need Specific Permissions

NDH Prompt Privacy

• storage — To remember your on/off preferences and custom keyword settings.
• Host Permissions (chatgpt.com, claude.ai, gemini.google.com) — Required to inject the local warning pop-up on these specific AI chat platforms. We do not access any other websites.

NDH AI Highlight

• contextMenus — To add right-click actions so you can send highlighted text using your selected prompt template.
• storage — To save your custom prompts and extension preferences locally.

NDH Prompt Library

• contextMenus — To provide fast right-click access for inserting or using saved prompt templates in supported workflows.
• storage — To save your prompt library and personalization settings locally on your device.

4. No Third-Party Sharing & No Remote Code

We do not sell, rent, or share user data because we do not collect extension content on developer servers. Our extension packages are shipped as Chrome extension bundles and are designed to run without remote executable code fetched from NextDayHub infrastructure.
