When you use ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini, the extension scans your text input just before you hit send. It looks for sensitive patterns like:
- API Keys, Passwords, and Tokens
- Credit Card Numbers
- ID & Passport Numbers
- Phone Numbers, Emails, and Physical Addresses
Important: This analysis happens entirely on your computer. Your text is never sent to us, never saved to a database, and never used for tracking or advertising.
2. What We Store (Settings Only)
The only data stored by this extension is your personal preference settings (e.g., which filters you
turned on or off). This is saved securely using Chrome's local storage
(chrome.storage.local)
and stays on your machine. You can wipe this data instantly by uninstalling the extension.
3. Why We Need Specific Permissions
- storage — To remember your on/off preferences and custom keyword settings.
- Host Permissions (chatgpt.com, claude.ai, gemini.google.com) — Required to inject the local warning pop-up on these specific AI chat platforms. We do not access any other websites.
4. No Third-Party Sharing & No Remote Code
We do not sell, rent, or share any user data because we don't collect it in the first place. This extension contains no remote code — everything is securely packaged inside the download.
